Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Preschool Teacher to lead our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will oversee the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curricula that foster curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth among preschoolers. Your leadership will ensure a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore their potential. As the head of our preschool team, you will collaborate with staff, parents, and specialists to promote best practices in early childhood education and child welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
  • Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, social skills, behavior management, and early intervention strategies for diverse learners.
  • Supervise and mentor teaching staff to ensure high-quality classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional delivery aligned with educational standards.
  • Coordinate assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom updates.
  • Oversee classroom safety protocols, toddler care routines, and childcare best practices to create a secure learning environment.
  • Collaborate with specialists in special education to support children requiring additional support or individualized education plans (IEPs).

Skills

  • Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool settings and classroom management.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori pedagogy.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and external professionals.
  • Skilled in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for early learners.
  • Demonstrated leadership in classroom experience with a passion for nurturing childhood development through innovative lesson planning and teaching strategies. Pay: $24.16 - $29.09 per hour
