Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. In this vital role, you will lead early childhood education initiatives, develop creative curricula, and support the holistic development of preschool children. Duties

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development, literacy education, math, physical education, and hands on learning methods.
  • Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s emotional well-being.
  • Lead classroom activities that foster childhood development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, address individual needs including special education and early intervention strategies, and promote child welfare.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure effective classroom management and high-quality childcare.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, behavior reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, literacy education, math instruction, and ECE methods.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management strategies to support diverse learners.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate physical activity, arts, literacy, and STEM concepts suitable for toddlers through preschoolers.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Certification in early childhood education or equivalent credentials preferred; additional training in special education or child welfare is a plus.
