Primary Purpose of the Job:
To manage the activities of assigned personnel responsible for the Process Safety of all facilities within Offshore Fields Area. Oversee implementation of the Safety Management System in Particular Related to process safety and Safety activities and intiatives for Offshore Operations and Technical Group Department on existing Plants/facilities, facility modifications and new projects.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 15 years post graduate experience in Design/Consulting and Operation/maintenance with at least 10 years in Process Safety and Loss Prevention System within Oil & Gas /Petrochemical Industry.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical /Electrical /Chemical /Insturment Engineering from Recognized Educational Institute or equivalent.
- Recognised Safety course ( NEBOSH certificate or equivalent ) .
- Diploma in Safety Management or Risk management.
- Adequate industry recognized HSE Training Auditor Training Certificates.
- Possess a good Knowledge of Written and Spoken English.
- Ability to perform field inspections, risk assessmeent and review/Prepare proposals.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of International Process Safety and Loss Prevention engineering and safety standards.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Quality Management Principles and practice.
- Computer Literate in mainstream office products have had exposure to online management, document and maintenance systems including SAP .
