Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our construction project team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and proven experience working on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs on-site
- Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, regulations, and company standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and site audits
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training to workers
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters
- Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities
Requirements (Mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer
- NEBOSH certification (IGC or equivalent) – Mandatory
- Construction industry experience – Required
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessments, and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently on-site
- Good communication and reporting skills
