Why This Role Exists
The position will be responsible for driving revenue growth across Zee’s Linear Television and Digital businesses by architecting innovative, data-led, omni-channel sales strategies & client-specific solutions with an objective of GROWING OUR PARTNERS. The position will enable transformation in sales effectiveness, client engagement, and revenue diversification while strengthening Zee’s positioning with advertisers in an evolving ecosystem shaped by audience fragmentation, platform convergence, and ROI-driven advertiser demands.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Growth & Business Strategy

Drive topline revenue growth through pricing innovation, client-specific and channel-specific monetization strategies, and cross-platform product performance leverage.

Create differentiated revenue models and dashboards that facilitate growth, efficiency, and accountability across sales functions.

Partner with product and content teams to influence performance, boost Ad GRPs, and unlock new monetization streams.
Omni-Channel & GTM Transformation

Design and deploy integrated omni-channel client solutions across Linear TV and Digital, maximizing Zee’s ecosystem advantage.

Lead annual sales planning including account segmentation, target setting, coverage strategy, capacity model, territory assignment, and quota allocation.

Support and optimize Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy: standardize sales processes, embed productivity drivers, enable automation, and ensure adoption across teams.
Client & Market Leadership

Build and sustain strong CXO-level relationships with decision-makers at client organizations and advertising agencies across categories.

Build an ecosystem to understand Client’s problem & their business needs.

Partner with internal teams to co-create bespoke client and channel solutions, IPs, and thought-leadership programs leveraging Zee’s network strength and cultural relevance.

Provide market intelligence and insights on consumer behavior, brand priorities, and competitive landscapes to continuously evolve the sales strategy.
Trend Spotting, Pipeline & Ecosystem Development

Trend spotting in terms of Brands, Consumers, Viewers, Tech, Markets etc to be identified and solution modules to be developed..

Develop lead-generation and pipeline-building strategies by leveraging sales ecosystem partnerships, marketing activations, and data insights.

Harness first party and third-party data management & analytics capabilities to generate insights, uncover opportunities, and enable sharper audience targeting.

Ensure adoption and effective use of sales-tech platforms and software within the sales organization.
People & Capability Development

Build and mentor a high-performance, consumer-centric sales & strategy team with expertise in client engagement, consultative selling, and omni-channel solutioning.

Drive a culture of innovation, agility, and collaboration across Linear and Digital sales teams.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enable capability building and future-ready talent development.
Key Shared Accountability

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, content, marketing, research, tech) and external partners (clients, agencies, industry bodies) to drive business objectives

What We’re Looking For
-
18-20 years of progressive experience in media sales, revenue strategy, analytics or business leadership with significant exposure to both TV and Digital ecosystems
-
Deep understanding of media consumption trends, audience measurement, performance marketing, and cultural context in India.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional collaboration
