Position Summary

The Head – Supply Chain Management will lead and integrate Supply Chain and Network Deployment functions, driving operational synergies, cost efficiencies, and timely project execution. This role is responsible for building best-in-class procurement, logistics, warehousing, and vendor governance frameworks while ensuring high-quality, on-time deployment of telecom and digital infrastructure projects aligned with business plans and growth objectives.

The position plays a critical role in improving profitability, optimizing capital and operating expenditure, and enabling scalable network rollout across geographies.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management

• Own end-to-end Plan-to-Procure and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Oversee Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) aligned with business plans.
• Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor selection for Capex and Opex categories.
• Drive Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgeting, cost control, MIS reporting, and financial governance.
• Develop and manage strategic vendor and partner ecosystems, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery excellence.
• Ensure seamless purchasing operations including BOM management, RFQs, purchase orders, and approvals.
• Lead logistics, freight, and multi-location warehouse (3PL) operations with strong inventory controls.
• Ensure 100% material accounting, fixed asset tracking, and movement governance.
• Drive continuous cost optimization initiatives through process engineering and innovation.
• Implement robust quality, audit, and compliance frameworks across the supply chain.

Deployment & Project Execution

• Lead end-to-end deployment including RF/Wi-Fi network design, site surveys, project management, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and execute deployment strategies aligned with business AOP and rollout targets.
• Establish governance frameworks to ensure timely RFI and adherence to deployment schedules.
• Drive delivery of best-in-class network quality to meet coverage, scale, and performance objectives.
• Define, monitor, and improve KPIs and operational metrics for deployment teams and partners.
• Take full accountability for deployment quality and execution outcomes.
• Prepare detailed project plans, proactively manage risks and bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Closely monitor inventory related to WIP (Work in Progress) and SRM (Site Return Material).

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech required
• 15–18 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Project Deployment
• Strong background in Telecom / Digital Infrastructure / Large-Scale Infrastructure Projects
• Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams
