Health and Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at project sites.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Ensure workers use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
• Maintain site discipline, accident/incident records, and safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, site entry/ID card policies, and statutory norms.
• Train workers and staff on safety awareness and emergency response procedures.
• Report safety violations, near-miss incidents, and ensure corrective measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to promote a safe culture.
• Act as a liaison with external safety auditors and government authorities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Safety Management / Industrial Safety / Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction/interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of HSE practices, labor safety, and statutory compliance.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to train and enforce discipline at site.
• Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety Diploma (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
