Health and Safety Officer

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies in line with industry and government regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure workplace safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and local safety regulations.
• Provide HSE training to warehouse staff, including safe handling of piping materials, emergency procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports for audits and compliance purposes.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials, if applicable.

Warehouse Management Responsibilities:

• Inventory Control: Ensure accurate stock records for pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and other Oil & Gas piping materials.
• Receiving & Dispatch: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of materials, ensuring timely dispatch to customers.
• Material Handling: Ensure materials are stored correctly to prevent damage and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out) methods are followed.
• Logistics Coordination: Work with suppliers and transporters to manage deliveries and shipments efficiently.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to optimize operations.
• Staff Supervision: Lead and train warehouse personnel on proper inventory management and safety procedures.
• Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
