Health and Safety Officer - Trakhees Mandatory

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer with Trakhees-regulated project experience to join our construction teams in Dubai. You will ensure compliance with the highest safety and environmental standards across our high-rise, villa, and infrastructure projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the project HSE Management System (HSEMS).
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks regularly.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive actions.
• Enforce PPE usage and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
• Conduct induction and training sessions for staff and workers.
• Develop site-specific risk assessments and HSE plans.
• Promote a proactive safety culture in coordination with project managers.
• Monitor site hygiene, welfare facilities, and regulatory compliance.
• Submit monthly HSE performance reports.

Qualifications & Certifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH IGC.
• Trakhees experience – mandatory (must have worked on Nakheel / Palm Jumeirah / JAFZA / PCFC or equivalent).
• IOSH Managing Safely.
• ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certifications.
• COSHH Risk Assessor training.
• Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) certification.
• Fire Safety & First Aid credentials.

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 5+ years of UAE construction HSE experience.
• Hands-on exposure to high-rise or villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulatory frameworks.
• DDA approval considered an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
