Position: HSE Engineer / Officer

Department: Projects - Supervision
Location: Dubai, UAE
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Certifications: NEBOSH Certified
Experience:

• Total Experience: 5 to 8 years

Preferred Background:

• Specialized courses and certifications in HSE Management
• Sound knowledge of UAE and Dubai standards
• Involved in safety auditing and HSE reporting
• Resolve complaints with effective communication with the local authorities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control HSE implementation on project sites in alignment with authority regulations, comprehensive HSE plans, project contracts, and specific project requirements.
• Review and approve HSE plans, method statements, and ensure their practical implementation on-site.
• Conduct daily and weekly HSE inspections and audits, and issue non-compliance and site observation notices where required.
• Lead weekly HSE meetings at project sites, prepare and circulate minutes of meetings (MOMs).
• Coordinate with all project stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of HSE standards and practices.
• Review, assess, and implement risk mitigation strategies to support safe project execution, completion, and handover.
