Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team at Tandoori Head Office. The HSE Officer will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations across our restaurant operations. This position is critical to maintaining a safe, hygienic, and legally compliant workplace for both our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections across kitchen, dining, and storage areas to identify and address hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance audits.
- Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions.
- Deliver regular HSE and food safety training sessions for staff.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of food and chemicals.
- Monitor the condition and readiness of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, emergency exits).
- Serve as the primary contact during visits by health and safety authorities.
- Develop and implement HSE improvement and sustainability initiatives.
- Promote a strong safety culture through awareness and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety, HACCP, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Strong understanding of local HSE and food hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
Key Competencies
- Regulatory Knowledge: OSHA, Punjab/Islamabad Food Authority, and local safety codes.
- Risk Management: Identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing preventive controls.
- Training & Communication: Ability to engage and influence staff at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Data tracking, incident analysis, and report preparation.
- Problem Solving: Proactive in preventing incidents and improving safety practices.
Performance Indicators
- Reduction in workplace incidents and safety violations.
- 100% compliance in health inspections and HSE audits.
- Full completion of employee HSE training programs.
- Successful execution of sustainability initiatives (waste reduction, energy efficiency).

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
