Health Safety and Environment Officer

Al Fares International Tents Construction & Metal LLC is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior HSE Officer (5+ years experience) to manage health, safety, and environmental compliance across our international tent, temporary structure, and event projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Project-Specific HSE Plans in line with client, UAE, and international standards
• Preparation and submission of all HSE documentation, including:
• Risk Assessments
• Method Statements (RAMS)
• Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• HSE Management Plans
• Emergency Response Plans
• Environmental Impact Documentation
• Permit to Work (PTW) documentation
• Ensure full compliance with UAE, GCC, and European HSE regulations
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks
• Identify hazards and implement corrective/preventive measures
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and project safety statistics
• Coordinate with client HSE teams, consultants, and authorities
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure proper implementation of PPE and safety procedures
• Support project teams in achieving zero-incident performance

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, tent structures, temporary structures, or event industry
• Strong knowledge of UAE, GCC, and/or European HSE standards
• Proven experience in documentation and project-wise safety submissions
• Experience handling site safety for large-scale projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong reporting and communication

Mandatory Certifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – as per UAE government requirement
• UAE Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE) HSE Certification
• IOSH Certification (Preferred)
• First Aid & Fire Fighting Training
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards
