Health Safety Environment Coordinator

We are seeking an active, motivated, and fast-learning HSE Project Coordinator to support daily safety operations, documentation, and coordination activities. The role involves working closely with the HSE team to ensure compliance with safety policies, improve safety performance, and maintain effective reporting and communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Corporate HSE Manager and HSE team in monitoring safety performance and daily safety operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, reports, training certifications, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate internal and external HSE trainings, including scheduling, documentation, approvals, and recordkeeping.
  • Prepare and maintain safety reports, documentation, and compliance records according to company procedures.
  • Collaborate with HSE Officers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Managers to ensure timely submission of safety reports and data.
  • Assist in accident/incident investigations, reporting processes, and follow-up actions.
  • Participate in HSE meetings and prepare minutes of meetings and action trackers.
  • Follow up on safety observations, audits, NCRs, and corrective actions within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve safety-related issues as required.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of company safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Requirements Experience
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience as a Safety Officer, HSE Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Active, proactive, and fast learner with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.
Languages
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
