Governance & Compliance

Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific
HSE Plans
, Method Statements, and
Risk Assessments (HIRA/JSA)
aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards.

Ensure compliance with
ISO 45001 (OHSMS)
,
ISO 14001 (EMS)
, and local statutory regulations (e.g., labor, environmental, and civil defense authorities).

Review contractor/subcontractor HSE documentation and conduct
pre-qualification
and
audits
.
Assurance & Monitoring
-
Plan and execute
HSE inspections and audits
(site and office), track findings, and manage corrective/preventive actions (
CAPA
).
-
Monitor leading and lagging indicators (Near Misses, TRIR, LTIFR, Observations), and prepare weekly/monthly
HSE performance reports
and
dashboards
.
-
Oversee
Permit-to-Work (PTW)
systems and verify control of high-risk activities (working at height, lifting ops, confined space, energy isolation/LOTO, hot work).
Risk Management & Design Support
-
Collaborate with design teams to integrate
Safety in Design
principles (e.g., hazard elimination/substitution, accessibility for maintenance, fire & life safety).

Facilitate
HAZOP/HAZID
workshops and environmental aspects/impacts assessments.
-
Support emergency response planning, drills, and
Business Continuity
considerations.
Training & Culture
-
Deliver HSE
inductions
, toolbox talks, and targeted training (W@H, LOTO, manual handling, chemical safety).

Lead safety culture initiatives: observation programs, recognition campaigns, and continuous improvement projects.
Incident Management
-
Lead or participate in
incident/near-miss investigations
, perform root cause analysis (e.g.,
5-Why

Fishbone

TapRooT®
), and issue comprehensive investigation reports.

Track implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
Stakeholder Engagement
-
Coordinate HSE matters with clients, contractors, and authorities; represent the consulting firm in HSE meetings.

Provide proactive technical advice to project managers and discipline leads.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or related).
-
3–6+ years
HSE experience in consulting, construction, or industrial projects (senior candidates may require 8+).
-
Proven application of
ISO 45001/14001
, risk assessment, incident investigation, and audit techniques.
-
Experience with
fire & life safety
,
PTW
, and
hazardous work controls
.
Certifications (Preferred/Required)

NEBOSH IGC
(or equivalent),
IOSH Managing Safely
.

Lead/Internal Auditor for
ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
(preferred).

First Aid/CPR, Fire Warden, or Confined Space certifications (as applicable).

CSP

Strong knowledge of
