Health & Safety Supervisor

Job Summary

The Health & Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing health and safety standards within the hotel. This role ensures that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to, providing a safe environment for guests and staff. The Supervisor will conduct regular inspections, manage safety training, and address any safety-related issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations; conduct safety audits and inspections.
  • Training: Develop and deliver safety training; maintain training records.
  • Incident Management: Investigate accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
  • Programs: Implement health and safety programs; oversee safety equipment and procedures.
  • Reporting: Maintain records and ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Collaboration: Work with hotel departments to integrate safety standards; provide advice on health and safety matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety or related field; certifications like NEBOSH or OSHA preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in hospitality.
  • Knowledge of regulations, strong problem-solving, communication, and training abilities.
