Job Title: Healthcare Executive – Call Center Support
Summary of Duties
- Handle incoming patient calls to the call center line and perform triage.
- Connect patients with the on-call doctor if required.
- If doctor consultation is not needed, book appointments or provide appropriate advice for further action.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (weekly off on Thursday and Friday).
Key Responsibility Areas
- Ensure punctuality – attendance is key for this role.
- Maintain courtesy and professionalism with co-workers.
- Provide patient care and satisfaction, considering each patient’s circumstances (high priority).
- Direct patients to the appropriate department or individual for assistance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Stay updated with office and department procedures.
- Participate in educational activities and attend physician staff meetings.
- Adhere to company policies as per the Employee Handbook.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Be available for client-required meetings when working offshore, including odd hours.
Skills / Attributes Required
- Strong medical knowledge.
- Prior experience working as a Nurse in ER or hospital settings.
- Proficiency in operating computers, phones, and basic office equipment.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Excellent and clear communication (mandatory).
Educational Qualification
- Nursing degree OR doctors who have not completed their degree but possess strong medical knowledge.
- Homeopathy doctors.
- Ayurveda doctors.
Roles & Responsibilities (After-Hours Patient Care Support)
- Attend patient calls via softphone.
- Assess and understand the patient’s needs, and triage accordingly.
- Connect with the doctor if treatment can be provided over the phone.
- Provide advice if symptoms can be managed by a nurse.
- Offer next-day appointments based on symptoms.
- Advise patients to visit the ER in case of worsening symptoms.
- Follow client-defined protocols for patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
