Job Description – Customer Care Executive (CCE)

Position: Customer Care Executive (CCE)
Department: Front Office / Patient Relations
Location: Maternity Hospital
Reports to: Front Office Manager / Hospital Administrator

Job Summary:

The Customer Care Executive (CCE) is responsible for providing front office and patient support services, ensuring smooth admission, discharge, and query handling for expectant mothers and their families. The role requires excellent communication, empathy, and coordination to deliver a positive patient experience in the maternity hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front Office & Reception Duties

  • Greet and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous manner.
  • Handle patient registration, admission, and discharge processes.
  • Manage phone calls, inquiries, and appointment scheduling.

2. Patient Care Coordination

  • Guide patients and attendants about hospital facilities, packages, and services.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Provide timely updates to families regarding patient status when required.

3. Billing & Documentation

  • Support in billing, payment collection, and insurance-related documentation.
  • Maintain patient records accurately.
  • Assist in preparing admission/discharge summaries (in coordination with medical staff).

4. Customer Service & Feedback

  • Address patient/attendant concerns and escalate issues to higher authorities if needed.
  • Collect patient feedback and ensure continuous service improvement.
  • Provide empathetic and supportive interaction with maternity patients and families.

5. Administrative Support

  • Maintain front office cleanliness and professional environment.
  • Ensure availability of admission forms, brochures, and information materials.
  • Assist in hospital events, health camps, and awareness programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Hospital Administration/Healthcare preferred).
  • Prior experience in healthcare/hospital front office preferred (maternity hospital experience is an added advantage).
  • Strong communication skills (English, Tamil/Hindi/regional languages).
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software).
  • Pleasant personality with empathy and patience to handle maternity cases.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
