Healthcare Operations Manager

At Wapiti, our purpose is simple — to help save lives in rural communities.
We do this by connecting dedicated medical practitioners with our partner facilities to provide staffing for emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and clinics.

Wapiti is currently seeking an Operations Manager. This position is responsible for the oversight, functions, and financials of an operations team of dedicated Account Managers.

This is a full-time exempt position. The role is eligible for remote work and may require some limited travel, as needed. Candidates are expected to work during core business hours Monday-Friday however some after hours work may be needed.

Essential Functions/Competencies:

Direct and meet day-to-day operations functions and team financials
Establish goals that meet organizational strategy
Responsible for supervision of internal Account Managers
Assist in the establishment of new policies and procedures
Must be adept at systems, reporting (data and charts), and forecasting
Detail organization and thoroughness

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to carry a conversation and influence others to ensure we are successful in serving communities
2 years of healthcare industry; preferred experience in locum tenens or healthcare staffing
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L
Proficiency with CRM/ATS systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Salesforce, or equivalent)
