Job Description – Healthcare Receptionist

Watch Your Health (WYH) is a HealthTech-enabled engagement and healthcare services company supporting leading multispeciality hospitals through structured processes, digital platforms, and service excellence.

As part of these engagements, WYH is hiring Healthcare Receptionists to support front-desk and patient coordination at hospital locations.

Role Overview

The receptionist will act as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors in person as well as on calls, ensuring smooth front-desk operations, efficient appointment management, and a positive patient experience during night shift hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage front-desk operations and address patient and visitor queries in a professional and courteous manner

• Handle patient appointment scheduling and queries over phone calls, ensuring timely and accurate coordination

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage doctor appointments based on patient preferences and availability

• Maintain accurate appointment schedules and patient records

• Respond to patient queries received in person and over calls with a service-oriented approach

• Collect patient feedback to support continuous service improvement

• Provide basic guidance on diagnoses and treatment processes to patients

• Share health insurance-related information and assist patients with basic queries

• Ensure effective coordination between patients, doctors, and hospital staff

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with data protection guidelines

• Support hospital operations during the night shift

Candidate Requirements

• Male candidates only (night shift requirement)
• 12th Pass / Graduates preferred
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is an added advantage
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare front-desk role is preferred
