Healthcare Superintendents

Overview
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of related experience in acute healthcare construction. Required certifications include: ICRA (preferred), CHC, OSHA 30 and valid Drivers License. Candidates must have a strong understanding of MEP systems in a healthcare setting; an ability to collaborate and work with owners, architects, subcontractors and end-users; and have strong people management skills with an emphasis on communication and problem solving. Experience with Procore (preferred) and MS Office 365. Duties include:

Duties

• Assist with projects from preconstruction and manage throughout construction phase
• Perform constructability reviews as needed
• Perform project risk assessments
• Assist with key submittals as needed
• Assist with writing RFI’s
• Assist with scheduling of subcontractors and inspections
• Assist with schedule updates
• Adhere to project schedules to ensure on time completion
• Complete daily logs and other required field reports with emphasis on details and completeness
• Manage all aspects of on-site healthcare construction with an emphasis on renovations including occupied acute care facilities
• Hold all required on-site meetings for productivity and safety standard
• Emphasis on high quality deliverables including client experience
• Adherence to OSHA safety standards
• Ability to travel
• Ability to work some nights and weekends

Experience

• Minimum of five years of related experience in acute healthcare construction
• Certifications: ICRA (preferred), CHC, OSHA 30
• Strong understanding of MEP systems in a healthcare setting
• Ability to collaborate and work with owners, architects, subcontractors and end-users.
• Strong people management skills with an emphasis on communication and problem solving.
• Experience with Procore (preferred)
• Ability to generate actionable schedules to ensure on-time project delivery (MS Project preferred)
• MS Office
