Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and service.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant equipment; perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform plumbing and mechanical work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and component installation.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and system conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all installation and repair activities.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in related construction or mechanical fields.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles; familiarity with mechanical drawings is essential.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and property upkeep.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
• Hands-on experience with field service operations involving heating units, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and HVAC/R equipment.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret electrical schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with mechanical knowledge; ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
