Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices.
• Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed.
• Operate field service vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws as a licensed driver.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure HVAC systems meet safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Utilize welding skills when necessary for equipment repair or fabrication tasks involving ammonia refrigeration or other specialized systems.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction or property maintenance environments.
• Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R or related fields such as refrigeration or appliance repair.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for troubleshooting and installation purposes.
• Knowledge of HVAC design principles to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC applications including refrigerant lines and drainage piping.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical skills including welding, equipment repair, and boiler maintenance are highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe field service operations.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
