Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.
• Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and drainage troubleshooting.
• Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical repairs.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for accountability and future reference.
• Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws as a <PERSON> driver when traveling between job sites.
• Support property maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities.
• Collaborate with team members on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) projects involving complex mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in related construction/mechanical fields with a strong background in equipment repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration if applicable.
• Mechanical knowledge of boilers, plumbing systems, air conditioning units, and appliance repair is essential.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
• Field service experience with property maintenance or appliance repair is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or <PERSON> driver certification preferred.
• Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
