Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic

As a Mechanic for Equipment Source, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment arrives at our clients' sites safely and on time, contributing to the success of their projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of construction equipment including but not limited to: loaders, dozers, excavators, skidsteers, mini excavators, reach forklifts, boom lifts, and some small equipment
• Diagnose mechanical defects in hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical, and emissions systems of machinery
• Determine the extent of needed repair
• Order replacement and repair parts
• Safely repair equipment to good operating condition

Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems in construction equipment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Diesel, hydraulic, and construction equipment repair experience Preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent or higher
• Welding Mig/Stick experience a plus.
• construction equipment repair is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
