Responsibilities

• Understand and document customer issues and machine performance issues from operators.
• Service, adjust and repair equipment, components and accessories including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using special tools and equipment provided, ensuring top quality workmanship at all times.
• Observe, recognize and report on defects and symptoms of impending failure.
• Replace parts as required while adhering to company policies and processes.
• Interpret technical service information and data from manuals, bulletins, etc. and apply such information on the job.
• Ensure equipment and tools are kept in a clean, safe condition.
• Report any shortages, damages or faults with tools or equipment to the Supervisor.
• Keep working areas clean and safe.
• Drive customer machines and company vehicles on or off the premises.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings for heavy equipment machinery for various applications such as construction, concrete, and lifting.
• Experience servicing and repairing brand names such as Komatsu, Caterpillar, Doosan, Hyundai, JCB, Liugong, and Volvo.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, and electronics principles.
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Calendar.
• Ability to perform welding, fabrication, and calibration as needed.
• Computer literate and competent in using a laptop for troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of existing and new technology related to the industry.
• Good understanding of technical English.
• High customer orientation.
• Relevant experience of 3-5 years in the industry.
