Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

· Must provide own tools applicable to position.

· Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.

· Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.

· Extensive knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and after treatment systems.

· Good customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.

· Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

· Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely.

· Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.

· Must be able to pass Drug screen.

Responsibilities:

· Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours

· Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.

· Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of new, used fleet as well as customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment.

· Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner daily.

· Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)

· Year-round company provided OEM training.

· Other duties assigned as needed.

· Shop and Field work are required.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
