Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment including excavators, forklifts, tractors, dozers, ect.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, hydraulic system servicing, transmission repairs, tire service, and electrical diagnostics.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during testing or troubleshooting procedures to verify repairs or diagnose operational problems.
- Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance performed; ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Experienced heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, electrical diagnostics, and schematics reading.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment and perform heavy lifting safely.
- Experience working with farm machinery, construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, rollers, skid steers, forklifts, on and off road trucks,
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
