Heavy Transportation Coordinator

Ø Must have a full knowledge in handling reefer containers.

Ø Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet clients’ demands without delay.

Ø Assist with queries relating the shipments.

Ø Working with Customers, planning routes and scheduling delivery and always meeting and exceeding Customers expectations

Ø Ensure that all transporters are contacted and kept updated with regards to progress and delivery changes.

Ø Ensuring all loads are adequately insured and high value loads monitored from loading to delivery.

Ø Ensure that all drivers hand in all relevant documentation pertaining to their respective deliveries i.e., DN/PODs.s

Ø Prepare accurate reports according to the expectations of upper management.

Ø Analyze data and suggest modifications and improvements accordingly.

Ø Take steps to avoid quality control issues.

Ø Continually review transportation rates to keep costs down where possible.

Ø Regularly communicate with Warehouse Tally and Supervisor for smooth operations.

Ø Promptly resolve shipment and inventory issues as they arise.

Ø Ensure logistical demands of the cold chain, and the critical importance of proper care to prevent costly spoilage or loss of product.

Ø Performs other duties as management assigned.

Requirement:

Ø Must have 5 minimum years of experience in Transpo Handling
