Heavy Truck Driver

We are looking for experienced Heavy Vehicle Drivers to join our operations in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

A truck driver is responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or livestock over long distances or locally. Key duties include operating heavy vehicles, loading/unloading cargo, adhering to traffic laws, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining communication with dispatchers.

• Transportation & Delivery: Safely driving commercial vehicles to deliver goods on schedule.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuelling, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues.
• Cargo Management: Overseeing or performing the safe loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring it is secured.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate driving logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
• Navigation: Planning routes using GPS or maps to ensure efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) for the specific vehicle type.
• Clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a heavy truck driver (often required).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Physical stamina to sit for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Requirements

• License: Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of UAE experience
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of working oilfield hours.
• Communication: Basic English, Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic.

Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
