Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services is seeking a highly skilled and responsible Heavy Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of client shipments and maintaining high standards of compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities

The Heavy-Duty Truck Driver is responsible for the professional, safe, and efficient operation of company vehicles to transport goods within the UAE and across international borders. The position ensures the timely and secure delivery of client shipments while maintaining full compliance with local and cross-border transportation laws, safety standards, and company operational procedures.

• Operate heavy-duty trucks in accordance with UAE traffic regulations and cross-border transport laws.
• Execute assigned deliveries with precision, ensuring products are transported safely, securely, and on schedule.
• Conduct all driving activities with a focus on safety, fuel efficiency, and compliance with company operational standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods when required, utilizing proper equipment and safety protocols. Ensure all cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or loss during transit.
• Complete all required transport documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, permits, and customs papers.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities as per company and legal requirements.
• Perform regular pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify operational safety and roadworthiness.
• Check and maintain essential systems including brakes, tires, lights, engine components, and fluid levels.
• Conduct minor maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions to the Fleet Maintenance Department.
• Comply with all applicable transportation, licensing, and cross-border regulations, including vehicle weight limits, driving hours, and customs clearance requirements.
• Represent Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services LLC with professionalism and integrity at all times.
• Maintain courteous and respectful communication with clients, customs officials, and external partners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License (Category 4).
• Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks for long-distance and cross-border shipments.
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC transport laws, customs procedures, and vehicle safety standards.
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with responsibility and attention to detail.
• Maintain zero preventable accidents and ensure consistent compliance with all safety and operational procedures.
• Experience: At least [1] years of experience as a heavy truck driver and fresher driver with a strong understanding of transport operations and safety protocols with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
• Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and understand route planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and customer service.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Willingness to travel long distances and across borders if necessary.
