Help Desk Engineer

Job Title: Help Desk Engineer – Arabic Speakers Only (Qatar)

Location: Qatar (Local candidates only) + Valid QID mandatory
Language Requirement: Arabic (Mandatory) + English

Job Summary

We are hiring a Help Desk Engineer to provide first and second-level technical support for IT systems, users, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be locally available in Qatar and fluent in Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support via email, phone, and ticketing system
  • Handle incidents and service requests related to systems, network, and hardware
  • Log, track, and resolve tickets using tools like BMC Remedy
  • Troubleshoot issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network
  • Escalate unresolved issues and follow up until closure
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
  • Provide remote support when required
  • Ensure all tickets are resolved within defined SLAs
  • Maintain proper documentation and update CMDB
  • Support system updates, patches, and maintenance activities
  • Assist users with guidance and basic training

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or related field
  • Experience in Help Desk / IT Support role
  • Knowledge of ticketing tools (BMC Remedy preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
