Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Flexible)

Work Environment: 100% Onsite


Overview:

Flex recently opened a new manufacturing facility in East Dallas and is hiring a hands-on IT Support Technician to provide on-the-floor support for our fast-paced operations. This is not a remote or MSP-style role—it's all about being onsite, working directly with production teams, and keeping systems running in real time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive technical support across the manufacturing floor and office
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on Windows systems, Zebra printers, scanners, handheld devices, and mobile equipment
  • Manage users and group policies in Active Directory
  • Monitor IT infrastructure (network, servers, security systems) and escalate as needed
  • Log and manage incidents through ticketing systems like Matrix42
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams
  • Support the new facility launch and adapt to evolving technical needs
  • Maintain IT compliance and documentation

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Comfortable working face-to-face with users on the floor
  • Familiar with Zebra barcode printers, scanners, and related tools
  • Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and general network troubleshooting
  • Reliable, self-sufficient, and able to adapt to change
  • Must be onsite – remote or MSP-only backgrounds are not ideal
