Job Title: Artic Lorry Driver (Class 1) – Scrap Metal & Waste
Location: South Wales (Local Work Only)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Artic Driver to join our growing team in South Wales. This is a local role, so no nights out required.

You will be responsible for the safe transport, loading, and unloading of scrap metal and waste materials across local sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving an artic lorry for local collections and deliveries
• Loading and unloading scrap metal and waste materials
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and comply with regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with scrap metal or waste (preferred but not essential)
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
