HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tipper lorry, delivering materials to various sites, and ensuring timely and efficient service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking to utilise their skills within a dynamic and supportive environment. The position is paid and requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence.

Duties

• Safely operate a Class 2 tipper lorry to transport materials to designated locations
• Conduct pre-journey safety inspections and report any vehicle issues
• Load and unload materials, ensuring securement and adherence to safety protocols
• Follow planned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including compliance with driving hours and tachograph rules
• Assist with general vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel regarding delivery schedules or issues

Experience

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in commercial driving, particularly with tipper or flatbed vehicles, is highly desirable
• Delivery driver experience is preferred, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle operation
• Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools is advantageous
