Role Overview

EverLights is seeking a highly skilled, high-performance Mobile App Developer to take primary ownership of the EverLights mobile application across current and upcoming products. This role is critical to our product roadmap and will work closely with firmware, backend, and product engineering teams to design, implement, and ship new features that directly impact customers.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable owning software systems end-to-end, from architecture through deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the development, maintenance, and evolution of the EverLights mobile application
• Design, build, test, and deploy new features for existing and future products
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to define requirements and technical solutions
• Interface with backend services via HTTP APIs (REST)
• Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and performance
• Produce clear technical documentation and written communication
• Actively identify risks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities
• Take responsibility for outcomes, timelines, and technical decisions within owned areas

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile development
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience integrating with Web APIs / RESTful services
• Solid understanding of cross-platform mobile architecture and deployment
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
• High level of technical literacy and sound engineering judgment
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results
• Effectively leverages AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality, maintainability, and correctness.
