Position Highlights
A quick look at this new ABC job…
Located at: University and Quebec
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. plus some flexibility for an occasional date night. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: April 6th
Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 2.5 and 11 months. The family does have an older child who is 9, but he will not need care as he is in school full time.

About the Children:
The families youngest is transitioning to one nap a day, is breastfeeding and taking bottles. She is on the move and has a gentle, sweet demeanor.

The families toddler loves to sing, dance, and go to ballet. She has so much fun being a big sister and is working on being fully potty-trained. She takes one nap a day still.

About the Family:
Dual working WFH parents with private office spaces.

About the Pets:
There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:
This family has had a great nanny in the past. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties, including children's laundry, cooking for the children, light tidying and picking up, unloading and loading the dishwasher, cleaning breastpump parts, staying on the daily schedule, planning educational activities, and going on fun outings.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
Experience and knowledge of potty training
Ability to plan age-appropriate educational and learning activities
Someone who follows the same Christian faith will thrive in this family.

The ideal candidate is happy to take the children on outings, can stay organized, is patient, kind, and has full focus on the children.
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $30-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $66,500 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2 weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
