Overview
As a Hindi Teacher, you will design and deliver structured, age-appropriate lessons in Hindi language and literature for middle-grade students. Your instruction will develop reading, writing, speaking and grammar skills, while nurturing cultural understanding and literary appreciation, in line with CBSE curriculum standards and KHDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
- Plan and teach lessons covering grammar, composition, reading comprehension, literature (stories, poems, essays, plays) and oral fluency
- Ensure all materials align with CBSE requirements and KHDA regulations
- Design assessments quizzes, written assignments and oral tasks to track language development
- Student Engagement & Language Development
- Foster active participation through storytelling, creative writing, drama and recitation
- Create a supportive classroom where every student feels confident expressing themselves in Hindi
- Offer extra help to learners needing reinforcement or personalized practice
- Classroom Management & Inclusivity
- Maintain a positive, well-organized environment that promotes focus and collaboration
- Use effective behavior-management techniques to encourage discipline and respect
- Adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Parental Communication & Collaboration
- Keep parents informed of student progress, strengths and areas for growth
- Participate in parent teacher meetings, language exhibitions and cultural events
- Suggest at-home activities to reinforce classroom learning
- Professional Development & Compliance
- Stay current on Hindi-teaching trends, new CBSE resources and pedagogical innovations
- Ensure full compliance with KHDA guidelines and school policies
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide language initiatives
