HL7 Implementation Engineer

We are hiring HL7 Implementation Engineer with expertise in HL7 interfaces (in-patient & out-patient segments). The role involves designing, building, and supporting HL7 integrations to connect healthcare systems, ensuring seamless data exchange for our U.S. clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HL7 interfaces for in-patient and out-patient workflows.
• Work with hospital systems, EMRs, practice management, and third-party applications.
• Handle ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, and DFT messages.
• Troubleshoot interface issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with local and U.S.-based teams to implement integration requirements.
• Document integration flows and solutions for internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with HL7 messaging (v2.x).
• Understanding of healthcare workflows (in-patient & out-patient).
• Familiarity with integration engines (Mirth Connect preferred).
• Basic knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), FHIR, and databases (SQL).
• Programming skills in Java, C#, or Python will be a plus.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with U.S. clients and internal teams.
