HOD - Pharmacy

Responsibilities :

• The Head of Pharmacy Services will lead and oversee pharmacy operations across all branch locations to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized pharmaceutical care throughout the Naseem Medical Centre’s.
• This role is responsible for the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols, effective medication management, inventory control, and optimal resource utilization.
• The Head of Pharmacy Services will work closely with Branch Pharmacy Team Leads and collaborate with other department heads to support clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and organizational objectives.
• The role holds full responsibility for implementing safe systems of work and safe professional practices across all pharmacy services within Naseem Healthcare, in line with international healthcare standards and Qatar Government regulations.
• Ensure adherence to national pharmacy regulations, healthcare laws, and corporate policies.
• Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and reporting purposes.
• Monitor quality assurance initiatives and patient safety protocols in all branches.
• Ensure all pharmacy branches adhere to regulatory, safety, and ethical standards in medication management and pharmaceutical services.
• Identify opportunities for service enhancement and patient care improvement.
• Develop and implement a centralized pharmacy training program to ensure all pharmacists and pharmacy staff receive standardized onboarding, regulatory compliance training, and continuous professional development.
• Serve as the central liaison between Pharmacy Services and other departments (Medical Services, Nursing, CPD, Operations, Customer Services, Finance, Diagnostics, etc.) to ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated medication management and patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements :

• Valid pharmacist license & Valid QID (Qatar or relevant authority).
• 6+ years of pharmacy experience.
