Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Home Appliance Technician to join our growing service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on repair experience, and excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair appliances including washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, dryers, microwaves, rice cookers, small kitchen appliances, personal care appliances etc.

· Carry out installation of new appliances and ensure they are functioning properly.

· Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to avoid recurring problems.

· Replace defective or worn-out parts using appropriate tools and equipment.

· Maintain accurate service logs, repair reports, and inventory of spare parts.

· Provide customers with detailed explanations of appliance issues and recommended solutions.

· Ensure all repairs and installations comply with safety and quality standards.

· Respond to emergency service requests and complete jobs within set timelines.

· Collaborate with the service team and report major issues to the supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Home Appliance Technician or similar technical role.

· Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems of home appliances.

· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documents.

· Skilled in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair instruments.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent communication and customer handling skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Physical ability to lift and move heavy appliances when required.

· Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Education & Experience:

· Diploma or Certification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (preferred).

· Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in appliance repair and maintenance.
