Home Care Nurse

Job Summary

Bella Roma Specialty Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Home Care Nurse to provide specialized post-operative nursing care for patients following cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, including abdominoplasty, thigh lift, arm lift, liposuction, and body contouring surgeries.
The nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, professional, and compassionate care in the patient’s home environment, ensuring optimal recovery and minimizing post-surgical complications.

Key ResponsibilitiesPost-Operative Clinical Care

• Provide 24-hour or scheduled home nursing care for post-plastic surgery patients as prescribed by the treating surgeon.
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, fluid balance, and overall recovery progress.
• Assess surgical sites for signs of infection, bleeding, hematoma, seroma, or wound dehiscence.
• Perform wound care and sterile dressing changes according to surgeon’s instructions.
• Manage and monitor surgical drains (e.g. JP drains), including measurement and documentation of output.
• Assist with compression garments, binders, and post-surgical supports.
• Administer prescribed medications, including pain management and antibiotics, as ordered.

Patient Support & Recovery Assistance

• Assist patients with mobility, ambulation, positioning, and daily activities during the recovery phase.
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions, hygiene, wound care, and activity restrictions.
• Provide guidance on sleep positioning, movement techniques, and prevention of complications such as DVT.
• Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients during recovery.

Monitoring & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes and home care reports.
• Report any abnormal findings or complications immediately to the treating plastic surgeon and hospital team.
• Follow Bella Roma Specialty Hospital clinical protocols, infection control policies, and DHA regulations.

Professional & Ethical Standards

• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Adhere strictly to DHA guidelines, nursing scope of practice, and hospital policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior representing Bella Roma Specialty Hospital.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
