Home Improvement Sales Consultant

Overview
Better View Windows and More is looking for a motivated, articulate, and presentable in-home salesperson. The position can be W2 or 1099. It is a commission only position. No salary. Our company's sales environment is one of the best in Hampton Roads. Our sale staff have a superior advantage with their clients from the variety of products we have, the top service we provide, and the most competitive pricing in our industry. We don't have to sell. Our sales staff are more order takers. The key to success here and making $100,000 to $200,000 is good follow up and follow through with your clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers both inside the store and through outside sales visits to understand their renovation needs and preferences.
• Present product demos, layout designs, and remodeling options that align with customer visions.
• Technology like Hover, Vendo, Eagleview, DocuSign, and more are all at your disposal.
• Negotiate pricing, upsell additional products or services, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Assist customers in product selection by demonstrating features, explaining benefits, and offering tailored recommendations.
• Coordinate with office staff and production team to ensure seamless project execution from initial consultation to installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the renovation, construction, or home improvement industry.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively.
• Familiarity with remodeling processes, interior design principles, maintenance tasks, and general construction practices.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients, team members, and vendors clearly and professionally.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple customers simultaneously while ensuring timely follow-up and project management.
