Homecare Assistant Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Assistant Nurse (AN) to provide high-quality medical care to patients in the comfort of their homes. The Homecare AN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for patients while ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Care Planning

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments for patients.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patients' needs and physician directives.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, updating care plans as necessary.

Clinical Care

  • Administer medications, treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide wound care, and other nursing procedures.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Patient and Family Education

  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including care provided, observations, and changes in condition.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, reporting significant changes in patient health.

Compliance and Safety

  • Adhere to all relevant nursing protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed.
  • Maintain compliance with local and national healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.

License: Valid Assistant Nurse (AN) license from [specify country/state].

Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in homecare, geriatric, or palliative care.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
