hospital quality officer

Beverly Hills Hospital – Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Quality Officer with strong knowledge of healthcare regulations in Abu Dhabi and extensive experience working within UAE healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be fully familiar with Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH/DUH) regulations, quality management systems, and hospital inspection requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with all DoH (DUH) regulations, standards, and licensing requirements for hospitals (not clinics or day surgery centers).
• Oversee implementation and maintenance of the hospital’s Quality Management System, including policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols.
• Prepare, update, and organize all Quality files, manuals, KPIs, risk assessments, incident reports, and audit documentation.
• Manage accreditation readiness and compliance for:

• JCI Accreditation
• ISO Accreditation
• DoH quality programs and audits
• jawda (vvvv important)
• Monitor the hospital’s adherence to patient safety standards and quality performance indicators.
• Conduct internal audits, gap analyses, and performance improvement activities.
• Coordinate external inspections, surveys, and audits from DoH and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain and update knowledge on ADHICS standards (Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information & Cyber Security).
• Ensure hospital teams follow best practices in documentation, reporting, and compliance.
• Provide staff training related to quality standards, policies, and inspection preparation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Quality Management, Nursing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Abu Dhabi healthcare sector is mandatory.
• Strong and updated knowledge of DoH (DUH) regulations and hospital-specific compliance requirements.
• Experience with JCI, ISO, and DoH quality frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of quality policies, patient safety standards, ADHICS, and audit procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high accuracy.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
