Mala Pata is looking for a warm, confident, and organized Host to join our team.

Our host is not just someone who greets guests — they are the first and last impression of the restaurant. This role requires emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage the flow of service with grace and authority.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet guests with warmth and genuine hospitality
• Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently
• Control the pace of seating to support the kitchen and service team
• Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen
• Maintain organization of waitlists and table turns
• Assist with light administrative tasks and guest follow-up when needed
• Uphold our standards of inclusivity, professionalism, and care

Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right energy and work ethic.

Schedule:

Evenings and weekends and Sunday brunch is required.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience + tip pool participation (if applicable).
