As a Host, you’ll coordinate reservations, manage seating arrangements, and ensure smooth flow of guests throughout their visit—all while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service from the first point of contact
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service operations
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear, courteous communication and excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area that reflects the high standards of hospitality
• Assist guests with special requests, accommodate seating preferences, and handle guest complaints professionally to enhance guest relations
• Support overall guest services by providing information about menu items, restaurant policies, and local attractions when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant environments is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster positive experiences
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts
• A background in serving, hotel experience, or food service is highly desirable

Pay: From $7.25 per hour
