We’re looking for an organized, outgoing and quick-thinking host to run a fast-paced dining room and facilitate great experiences for our guests. Our small dining room balances reservations with space for walk-ins and a busy bar, and we need someone who can help manage the flow and communicate clearly with guests.

-We are looking for a truly guest-focused person with a natural spirit of hospitality and a genuine desire to be part of a strong team. Our 10 years of success are built on loyalty and guest relationships- we want someone who’ll welcome our regulars home and help us make repeat guests out of first-timers.

  • Prime candidates will have at least 1 year hosting experience.
  • Experience in a fine-dining environment is a big plus.
  • A strong background in RESY or other reservation platforms is valuable.
  • Weekend availability is a must; this includes Sundays, which at the Red Hen are a highlight of the week.
  • We’re a fast-paced small dining room, and again we manage a hybrid reservation/walk-in system with an often long waitlist. It’s a lot to stay on top of, and we need hosts who can do it with poise.
  • Starting pay $19/hr (shifts are typically either 3:00-8:30 or 4:30-9:30)
