Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service that makes everyone feel welcome
• Coordinate with the dining team to ensure timely seating and accommodate special requests or needs
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about menu items and wait times
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall satisfaction
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by managing waitlists and communicating effectively with staff

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and hospitality standards is desirable
