At Mile Marker One, Hospitality starts at the front door. Hosts set the tone for every guest experience.
Hosts are expected to:
• Greet every guest with a smile and welcoming attitude. • Make eye contact and acknowledge guests immediately upon arrival. • Maintain a calm and organized host stand during busy service periods. • Communicate clearly with servers and management to ensure smooth seating flow. • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming entrance at all times. • Treat every guest with patience, courtesy, and respect. • Represent Mile Marker One with professionalism and pride.
Job Requirements
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and guest service skills.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
Open and flexible availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to assist team members and go above and beyond to support the restaurant.
Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods.
Reporting Procedures
Hosts report directly to the Restaurant Manager and Supervisors.
Hosts must maintain open communication with servers, bussers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service operations.
