Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage guest seating, handle reservations, and ensure smooth flow of service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel valued and comfortable from arrival to departure
• Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and availability
• Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and positively

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality best practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Experience working in hotel or food service environments is advantageous but not mandatory
